Toastworthy Teens: Cati Grant

 Cati Grant, Cati Cares

17-year-old Cati Grant believes that When we stand together, we can change the world. The change that she most wants to see is an end to cyber-bullying, which is why she founded Cati Cares, a site for victims (as she herself once was) to get help.

She then took that passion one giant step further by touring the U.S. in an effort to join one million teens against cyber-bullying to show bullied kids that they are not alone.

I think she nailed it. :)

  1. That is definitely a very noble cause, as well as an uphill battle. It is so easy to bully others, especially when a person has free range on the Internet.

I like these posts of yours. They are inspiring because they show me (and the world) that our youth is not all lost.

  2. I also think that the daily grind keeps us adults so busy that we forget to make and/or think we don't have time to take on any more projects, so when I read what these teens are doing it reminds me what's important. They live the motto "Be the change you want to see in the world" and if every person would make even a small change, help one other person, or even just care a little bit more, what a huge improvement that would add up to.

Thank you for showing your support for these amazing kids; I write to let them know they're being highlighted and they're all so pleased to be featured, but at the same time surprised by the recognition because that's not why they do it. :)
